The only thing wrong is that the top isnt totally smooth, but not so rough that you cant set a glass on it. They look nice. Perfect to use instead of coffee table.

We use these tables in our living room and they work very well. We have two recliners and one love seat. One recliner has the magazine holder table from this set that I ordered separately. All four pieces do the job.

The slate top has a lot of rusty brown, burgundy and deep golden colors. It is nicely sealed with a glossy finish. These tables are VERY heavy and sturdy. One of the three tables was finished a little sloppy with the glue / adhesive for the slate. Not super-noticeable though. Would have been 5 stars otherwise... Super value!
