• Please Note: Upper bunk does not need box spring. Lower Bunk box spring is optional if the side rails are assembled in the lower position, if side rails are assembled in the higher position there is no need for a box spring. If the bunk bed is going to be assembled as two separate beds, the box spring is optional depending on preference of mattress height
