Born in Stuttgart in 1940, Hansjerg Maier-Aichen studied interior design in Wuppertal and painting at the state college of the visual arts in Munich, Germany. He created the brand Authentics in 1980, which won the European design award in 1997. He is a member of the German Design Council in Frankfurt and professor at the Central St. Martins College of Art and Design since 1999.
A new lid on the old cylinder body produced a completely new product – CAP. This waste paper basket fits perfectly in every office, kitchen and other rooms of the home. It even holds a trash bag which can be completely hidden by the broad rim of the cap's lid. Available in three colors, this waste basket will be a fantastic addition to any space.
