The Design

This modern chair provides chic, modern style along with comfort and functional ability. Inspired by the 60’s era and comparable to the popular ‘egg chair’ of that time, the Baloo exudes unique shapes in quality leather and microfiber fabrics. This solid design conveys strength but its light to move. Swiveling 360 degrees and featuring a rocking function, Baloo is more than just looks, but also a comfortable practical chair that will soon become your favorite seat in the house.

Semi aniline leather is a full grain furnishing hide which has undergone the same through-dying process as aniline leather
A light pigmentation is then applied, as well as a protective coating to make it more user friendly
Semi aniline leather still gives a soft, luxurious feel and good breathing qualities
Compared with aniline, this leather is more resistant to dirt and other environmental factors
One of AstroLine’s most important qualities is a good thickness of hide, which helps to give both natural softness and excellent durability
This is the hide for those who want a real and powerful expression of leather

Leather furniture requires regular care and maintenance

Wipe off dust and soluble marks as soon as possible with a clean, soft, white cloth , soaked in luke warm water and well wrung out

Vacuum clean often, using a nozzle with a soft brush

Dsigned by Hjellegjerde:

It all began in the cellar premises of the Hjellegjerde family in the fjord community of Sykkylven in Møre & Romsdal as long ago as 1941. The brothers Otto and Mindor Hjellegjerde started up the first production of furniture.
As the years went by that cellar had to be continually extended to make more room for production and with family joining the regime, there stood great commitment and desire to further develop their family run company. All their hard work and effort paid off, as today, Hjellegjerde has become Norway’s largest furnishing groups and a significant player in the development of the Norwegian furniture industry.

After undergoing changes to emphasize the quality and comfort of their Norwegian design, Hjellegjerde has finally been built to showcase the dedication and determination to showcase the pride and design of the furniture it has produced since 1941.

Truck Freight Additional Information:

This product is too heavy/large to ship via the small package delivery services (e.g. UPS, FedEx) so it will be sent to you via truck freight. Truck freight is different than standard UPS, FedEx or US Mail in that you will be responsible for carrying the product from the back of the truck into your house (or wherever it's going).

The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.

If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need a couple of people to help unload it. Alternatively, most truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once we email you the tracking information you can contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. You would be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services.
