This set is perfect if you want a retro dining restaurant feel for your eating space. We have an open space living area and this is going right in front of our kitchen island. Tweens, teens and little kids will enjoy the retro dining set because it will remind them of eating at a restaurant diner and the seating is very spacious. This set is very family friendly and has a cool fun retro restaurant design! Easy to clean too! Just remember no sharp ojects on or near the vinyl seats and table top, scratches & tears would be costly to repair! Enjoy eating in retro restaurant style at an affordable price! We have an open floorplan. Our "dining room" is tiny and my husband has always wanted this type of seating. We love our Soda Shoppe breakfast nook. It's attractive, comfortable and our two small children LOVE sitting at the table now because they feel like they are dining at a diner. We get a lot of compliments!

I bought this nook set for the corner of our eat-in kitchen and while it was pretty much what I was looking for, I had a few surprises. The red is a little darker than in the picture (which I don't mind), the metal work is more brushed steel than chrome colored so that makes it a little less retro looking and doesn't go as well as I would like with other pieces in my kitchen (including the red and chrome diner chair I already had). The biggest surprise is the size, the actual footprint is 6 - 12 inches larger than expected because the corner piece adds width and length. The corner piece is straight and would be more effective if it had a curved back, but for the price I guess that's too much to expect. It seems to be well made and was easy to put together - it's been assembled and in regular use for 2 months and luckily it JUST fits in the space alloted, we bought a chair for the end of the table so it sits 6 people, and, overall, we're very happy with it. The kids love it, they say it's like eating in a restaurant.
Service and delivery comments:
SUPER fast delivery, excellent condition and well packed. One of the boxes was dented but the table top was well protected and unharmed.
