I started off looking for a Herman Miller Aeron chair because I had it at work a few years back. I quickly stopped after I couldn't justify the almost [$] the model I wanted. I saw this chair had almost all the features that I wanted for much less. I was very happy with the choice. I have used this every day 4-8+ hours for my home office / personal chair for over a month now. I find it quite comfortable and adjustable and the only nit-pick I have is that I can't lock the backrest in a reclined position (it will lock from reclining at all, however).

I bought this chair as my primary desk chair at work. I spend about 10 hours a day at my desk and this chair is comfortable for about the first half of that. I think for shorter periods this chair would be great but for long days at work it just doesnt cut it. The seat bottom is a bit too long and contact the back of my knees which grates on your nerves after a while. I really like the back on this chair; it is stylish, supportive, and comfortable. The seat is made of the same material and works, as I said, for short periods, but like my previous less expensive chair that this one replaced, it doesnt support or cushion enough and painful pressure points become apparent. I know I've said a lot of negative things, but really for this price, and probably for a different use, this chair is good. Spend a little more on something different if you are going to be sitting all day.

This is a comfy and nice chair for the price. It is sturdy, and rolls, spins, and tilts smoothly. The mesh seat and back are very nice. The seat and back are very wide (20+ in) which detracts from the stylishness. The arms are easily removable for those who don't want arm rests.

Great chair -- [...] easy to assemble, surprisingly comfortable. I got it because I wanted an airy chair in a hot, humid climate, but it's also very comfortable. Great support for the lower back.

We bought this for a receptionist chair. Positive first: the price is right and we like the mesh upholstery (very comfortable and breathable fabric). Chair proves to be stable, high quality, no squeaks, rolls smoothly. The areas needing improvement are 1)Adjustability: lumbar support-it's not bad, but it's not adjustable, and when you are sitting for 8 hours a day, this feature is VERY important. Also, the tilt adjustability only allows you to tilt back-not forward. 2)Seat: The seat is too deep. I am 5'7' with normal length legs and seat comes out too far, so it's not extremely comfortable. All said, in my past job I had a Herman Miller chair (very spoiled!) and this chair, although not the same, comes VERY close for 1/4 the price!
