About Michael Payne
Michael Payne, host and interior designer of HGTV’s “Designing For The Sexes”, graduated from the UCLA interior design program in 1980.
In addition to Desiging for the Sexes, Michael teaches an interior design seminar at UCLA. He is a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and is a Certified Interior Designer in the State of California.
Michael’s furniture line, the Michael Payne Collection by Powell, was introduced at the High Point Furniture Market in 2005. With collections including the 7 Series, Sloane, Hampton, and Mayfair, Michael's interpretation of classic, traditional, and contemporary design with an aura of understated sophistication shines through.
