We love the design of this table. We first saw a table like this, with four rolling ottomans that fit "inside" the table, several months ago at a vacation condo. This is the prettiest table we could find of similar design, and it happened to match our entertainment center perfectly. [...] I did check the table out as soon as we unpacked it, and did not notice any blemishes. HOWEVER, within a short period of time there began to "appear" several areas of scraping and chipping on the table, which for some reason no furniture cover-up kit will seem to cover, which is weird; I've never had a piece of furniture which absolutely repels furniture stain or furniture touch-up sticks. Therefore, we are going to have to live with the scratches, scrapes and chips that are appearing on the table, because no product we have tried will "stick" to the chip or scrape (the table must not be real wood). Also, please note that we are an average family with older kids, have a nice upscale home, are not unduly hard or rough on our furniture, and have not had any other similar problems with any other furniture we have EVER had. In synopsis, this is a beautiful table set, and a very functional design, but the finish seems to be among the least durable of any piece we have ever owned. I am considering consulting a professional furniture repair shop to get their advice on how to keep this table looking its best; the typical scratch repair products at your local stores will not work. Be forewarned.

This is a wonderful piece.Very heavy.It is exactly what we have been looking for.
The stools can be re-covered easily.
We are very pleased with the versatility of the piece.Great as a coffee table,wonderful in the den to play games with the kids.Regular chairs work well if you have older adults over for cards.The stools also work well when the table is at it's tallest.
We are very pleased with this set.
