Comments about Thomas Lighting Homestead 3 Light Strip Light in Polished Brass:
With lights directed downward, it improves light projection considerably; right where you need it most. The frosted shades provide more of a diffused light which takes away glare from mirror. It has truly made an improvement by opening up a small room -- makes it look rich!
Comments about Thomas Lighting Homestead 3 Light Strip Light in Polished Brass:
The fixture is beautiful. The mounting to the wall went great; instructions were good, not perfect. HOWEVER .... the instructions (step 6) for assembling the glass shades is inaccurate. Thumb screws for attaching the glass shades were replaced by a metal ring with screw threads which needs to be positioned over the ceramic light socket after the shade is in holder. The the person who changed that should be made to assemble 1000 fixtures for their reward for such inovation. I had to make an assembly tool similar to a spanner wrench to make the assembly because my hand could not reach far enough into the shade to screw the ring in place. Why should the customer have to be creative to complete the assembly? THOMAS LIGHTING'S reputation is going down the tubes with that kind of "creativeness"!!!! I want to watch the person doing the 1000 assemblies one after another without my spanner wrench or any other tool; only hand assembly! GOOD LUCK!
