No qualms about sitting on this bench; it is sturdy. The coloring is a little more reddish than I expected from the photo. It took a bit of work to put it together. The instructions were not translated to American well enough to make sense in places. But, with a bit of assembly experience, extra wood glue, common sense, and some tweaking in spots, it went together without a lot of trouble. You will need an extra pair of hands or some good support structures near the end of the assembly.
needed something to sit on while taking golf and garden shoes on and off. Perfect!
I bought this bench for the entryway. I like the look of it overall, but found the instructions sketchy and inner seating area smaller than I thought it would be. The drawers, although they look good are not practical to use since there is no support other than the top glides which make it difficult for it to slide in straight.
This piece in the entry way provides a functional, attractive, pragmatic storage and staging solution for our family, especially our kindergartener to store gloves, hat, and sunglasses while at the same time helping him take off his shoes when he comes in from playing outside...keeping our 'no shoes allowed' rule in our new home.
There was a slight flaw in the first one I received but the company paid for return shipping and promptly sent a replacement. The table's quality is excellent - very solid.
Bench is rated excellent for style, appearance, and function. Assembly , using the enclosed instructions, was somewhat complicated, but not that hard to accomplish.
Nice solid, quality bench. We keep it in our entryway and it looks like a much more expensive piece. Instructions
were unfortunately vague and some quesswork was needed.
I love it! It is exactly as pictured. The wood is in good shape and the construction is well made. It took a little time to assemble, but we were prepared for that. Can't beat the price!
