I am very satisfied with the purchase. The chair assembly is straining (it takes two people - one to hold in place and one to screw in the screws) the hole alignment is slightly off, but otherwise easy assembly.
First surprise? Yet another product made in China. The second surprise was to find that this was a fairly solidly built dinette set. Of course I thought it looked very attractive from the pictures (otherwise I wouldn't have purchased it), but I was even more pleased with the looks after I assembled it (it looks terrific) ... which leads us to the assembly process.[...] My unit came with the exact number of screws needed to assemble everything and not one screw extra (so don't lose anything). They give you a small Allen wrench (actually, you get three Allen wrenches -- one in each box of two chairs, and one in the box housing the table), and that's all you'll need in order to assemble everything (except for the seat cushion, it requires a screwdriver that's not provided). You can't use a standard electric drill driver (unless it's a small, narrow screwdriver-type) because there is not enough clearance (except for attaching the seat cushions).While there is nothing at all complex about the assembly (good thing, because the instructions are meager), the chairs are time consuming to assemble. Plus it requires some effort getting things lined up (the build tolerances are not as accurate as they could be). Every one of the chairs took extra effort, and all are under some tension because of minor misalignments. It also takes awhile to figure out which way to put on the seat cushion (there is no "front" markings on the bottom of the cushions and no explanation in the instructions). After scratching my head for several minutes, I figured it out, but I'm sure some have assembled the seat cushions on backwards. In contrast, the table was very easy and quick to assemble.I had one other problem with the chairs. [...]How comfortable are the chairs? They are okay, but I wasn't expecting much comfort in an inexpensive set. They do use rather cheap cushion material (little support). And one of the chairs kind of creaks (I suspect the one that I had most trouble with in assembly -- high tension). But hey, one usually gets what one pays for, so I'm not unpleasantly surprised.How do I rate it? Between 1 and 10, I think it deserves a solid 7 (or 4 stars). This set receives high marks on looks and the use of a heavy gage steel that's nicely enameled. All chairs (and the table) have protective covers on the feet so it won't scratch your floors. It gets average marks for assembly (some of it was easy, some a bit difficult). It gets a little below average for the cushion material. All-in-all, it's a very attractive looking product and I'm quite happy having it in my home. It's well worth the small asking price.

Looks great once I was finally able to assemble. Some of the holes for the screws weren't properly aligned, but was able to work around them.
Product is great for small dining areas. Not very difficult to put together...some holes aren't aligned, so you must use extra effort to realign them...had to drill holes to attach cushions to chair...great price...[...]...very pleased with purchase...looks great on a diagonal
The size of the table is perfect! Not too small or too big! It's heavy and sturdy and great looking! Love it!

Th picture does this set no justice. It is large enough to seat four but can easily be used for a romantic dinner for two! Its beautiful in so many ways.

I bought this dining set for my sons first apartment. Very attractive however a couple of the chairs and legs holes were not lined up properly so my husband had to drill new holes. [...] Would definately purchase again.
The set is attractive, very durable and easy to clean. It is an excellent buy for the price.

Definitely worth what I paid for it. It was fairly easy to assemble. I think the "real deal" looks better than the picture online. This table set definitely adds something to my house.
