For an extremely reasonable price, we now have a matching bedroom set for our son that maximizes storage in his small room, and is sturdy and classy enough to last him into adulthood. The only issue we had was during assembly-- the bed and the headboard came as a set, but didn't connect together as the instructions specified. So my husband created a wood connector to go between them so the two parts would attach cleanly. It looks beautiful and functions perfectly, but might be problematic for someone who's not as handy as my hubby. All things considered, though, we couldn't be more pleased. We'll definitely make future purchases from BedroomFurniture Direct.

Took a while to put together and 2 drawers stick, but overall a good product for the money. I shopped around and this was the best deal out there by far. Product shipped quickly and packaged well.

This product is great because i have a very small space . Very easy to put together.It is very hard to find a quality nice peice of furniture in black. I hade been looking for over 6 months for something that i liked i would highly recomend this site to others and would buy from them again.

It took HOURS to setup. We purchased the bed, the front bench, the headboard, 2 night stands and the long 6 drawer dresser. And the headboard doesn't attach right with the bed and so it's not very sturdy. Looks good and the bed is comfortable without a boxspring but just took forever.

Drawers have to be literally banged closed (which I foresee them breaking easily). A cam lock actually broke in half during assembly and one was missing from delivery. A piece of board (it's just crushed wood) actually broke away while screwing into side of bed, causing side board to not be properly anchored to side of bed and drawer beside the screw to keep catching on it (screw has already chipped corner of drawer). No bolts for headboard so it is just free standing and hits wall when bed is jostled.

This product was great. [...] Takes a while to put everything together (i got six different pieces). The only negative I found with the furniture was that some pieces came with minor scratches, and it does seem to scratch easily. but the black definately looks great.

I was able to get a full bedroom set for a great price which not only looks good, but is very sturdy. Just make sure you have a whole day or two days to put all the furniture together!

My 12 year old son picked this out for his new bedroom. It is awesome! I think the style and construction will last thru college. Everyone who sees it wants it for their room! We designed a cool jungle motif to go with it.
The assembly was easy. Please take the time and read the instructions.We did need to order side panels for the drawers (we received all lefts).The parts arrived in no time with no problems at all. I would definately recommend this furniture.We LOVE it!

I used this in my Tween's room. It wasn't hard to put together, but it was time consuming. The pieces articulated pretty well and it does look nice. She is satisfied so therefore...I am too :)
It really is more of a particle board construction, it's easy to scratch - the laminate isn't as durable as it could be. The dresser is smaller in stature than I expected, almost looks like it goes in a child's room - this is not for an adult room.

The bed had alot of pieces, but they were well marked and had excellent instructions. I'm a 40 year old mom and my 16 year old daughter and I had no trouble putting it together by ourselves. There were 2 minor blemishes on one edge from shipping, but you really have to search to see them. The bed has great storage and style for a teenager. My daughter and her friends love it. It supports the weight of 4 or 5 teenage girls easily. Be careful of where you assemble it, because once it's put together with the drawers, it isn't easily moved, it weighs more than a standard bed. I would definetly use these products in more rooms in my house.

Bought this bed for my teenage son who had to have a black bed. His room is small so we wanted a compact bed with storage. I am not a big fan of press board furniture but thought I would take a chance with this. Everyone's gripes about the instructions is true. The instructions are very difficult to follow for the book case. Instructions for the bed and nightstand were not too bad. Prepare for at least three hours of assembly time. Bring a drill or prepare to twist your hand off putting in all the screws and fasteners. Once assembled the bed is big, very sturdy and does not give you the impression it is press board. Very sleek and good looking. The drawers underneath are good size and sturdy. This is a heavy bed so assemble it where you want it to stay. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase ane would recommend it. Just keep in mind to use your brain when assembling it because you will be re-assembling many parts if you follow the instructions.

Bed looks great, but it requires A LOT of time to put it together. Also, some pieces are cheaply made, therefore, part of the head piece broke when we were putting it together. The drawers are not meant to hold anything heavy.

very nice bedroom set... fairly simple to construct but the directions are not very thorough.
Also, some pieces came with deep scratches that needed to be covered up (the set does come with a touch-up pen).

it wasn't as easy as i thought it would be putting it together, the directions were vague and limited. i am pleased with the finished product and it looks very nice, although the draws on the bed for some reason does not fit completely in the slots.

Several of the bolt areas in the particle board broke during assembly. Can't move pieces on carpet once assembled because it jepordizes the integrity of the furniture (hear it making damaging sounds). [...] Simply put, particle board furniture is not that sturdy.
this bed took me quite a bit of time to set up, however, it was well worth it. I bought the entire bedroom set for under $1700 and you can't beat the value. It is a great buy! The bed has held up great and the matress is extremely comfortable. I would suggest having a extra hand on deck on deck to assemble everything though.
This bed looks great. It was fairly easy to put together, but you need 2 people.
it is pretty sturdy the only thing i wasn't completely satisfied with are the inside of the drawers the cardboard is kind of flimsy.It would be much better if it were wood or a stronger carboard.
I bought this bed for my master bedroom and it looks awesome. It?s was great deal. Good price, quality & fast shipping. Installation is not so simple. It is a 2 person?s job and it will take you 2-3 hours, but worth it. The drawers are so convenience for storage. The platform bed was a little rough on my back but with a mattress pad the problem was solve.
