The item itself is very solid and heavy. The racks themselves are well made iron attached to solid wood. I am a bit disappointed in the one I received though. The stand wobbles so I tried placing it on different surfaces to make sure it was level. No matter where I placed it, it continued to wobble. I placed a felt circle under one leg but it still wobbles so I need to add something thicker.
The main pole has a nice look but the one I got has 6 holes in it. It looks like something was dripped on it and it ate through the wood. I tried wiping it off but there are actual small holes that I cant fix. That was my major disappointment but since I already threw away the box I didnt want to go through the hassle of applying for an exchange.
Besides those 2 flaws I like the overall look and it functions well.

This coat tree looks gorgeous, was easy to assemble, and the price was most reasonable.
Looked at many similiar coat trees online. Settled on the Barrier Reef Coat Rack. It's a little pricy, but I got what I paid for. It's very nice, and sturdy.
