This was a great find. We have a small apartment so we needed extra storage and a coffee table; this piece accomplishes both and with style! Although it is not solid wood it is very attractive, sturdy and functional. If you are looking for extra storage at a reasonable price this is your piece. Putting it together was a bit of a challenge though as some of the holes needed to be re-drilled. But that was very minor.

It was a little difficult to put together as it required 2 people. The directions were a joke. "Put A on B tight with J" Still trying to figure out what that means! It does what we need it to do, but it scratches very easily.

Overall it's a good piece but the pre-drilled holes for the front latch were drilled wrong. I had to make new ones so I could properly attach the latch.

I love everything about this trunk. The hindges were a difficult to place. Predrilled holes for allignment and marking of hindges for left and right would be nice.

This trunk was easy to put together. The lid has a "no slam" feature. It quietly closes with the hinges letting it close slowly. The quality is excellent. The only problem with it is the strong smell of lacquer or glue. I've had to let it air out for about a month before putting blankets in it.

It has already chipped on the sides. It was a temporary coffee table until I decide what I want. It holds all my kids blankets.

VERY Pleased

I am really pleased with this coffee table. For the price, compared to others out there, this is an excellent value. Solid hardwood is just too expensive and this looks great as an alternative. Shipping was very timely...no problems. The only negative was the instructions for assembly. I think the directions were from China. They didn't translate well, but I get the impression it wasn't too hard for my husband to figure out. (I didn't have to do the work..just admire the finished product)

Great table

The coffee table is great. I had a bit of a problem because the directions are a pain when it comes to putting the internal hinges on, but I figured it out eventually! :-)
