When I got this out of the box I noticed that the edges were all worn down the black was all rubbed off. When I put together the base, the round disc that secures the leg to the base bent and punched out a piece of the top of the base. I went ahead and completed the assembly and then just glued the piece back on. [...]I spent all this money and I believe that I got ripped off.

We have the table in our living room. The drawers are great for remotes and small table clutter.
The edges are a bit rough, but nothing some sandpaper can't fix.

We were looking for a fairly neutral coffee table because our living room has other woods in it. We also wanted one that was medium-small sized, which was hard to find. But this set is perfect. Although it doesn't shout "Quality," it blends right in yet really pulls the whole room together with the matching end tables. It arrived with some rough spots on the corners, but a crayon-type repair stick fixed those up. Especially for the price, these are great tables.

I ordered this along with two of the end tables of same design. While the end tables are absolutely perfect in size and function, the coffee table is terribly small!
