We had an unusual idea in mind when looking for a console cabinet. We are animal lovers and me needed a place to store our "Dearly Departed". They are now in matching cedar boxes with their picture next to the appropriate box. It makes for quite the conversation piece!

The piece I ordered had glass insets in the top, but the one I received didn't. Since it was close, I decided to keep it anyway: it is a lot of trouble to return an item like this after it has been opened. In assembling, pre-punched holes in the back of the curio, where the back panels were screwed on, would have made assembly a lot easier. Also, more bracket holes to allow flexibility in the positioning of the glass shelf, or the addition of more shelves, would have been appreciated.
