This desk is very functional, sturdy and attractive. However, it is a nightmare to assemble and the directions are not much help. If you are not an organized or handy person, do not attempt this task. Find someone who is because you will be frustrated very quickly. It took 4 people to put mine together and we still had great difficulty.

I use this for my laptop and storage for my home business and my daughter's school supplies. I love the clean look once I fold it close. Even my husband who's picky loves this furniture. Not only does it look good, but very functional for what I use it for. Small enough where it doesn't overtake our family room. LOVE!LOVE this product. Would highly recommend to buy!

This is a nice simple desk that will go with most any decor. It went together easily and when I found that I was missing one piece and called about it they were most helpful and sent the missing piece out to me in a most timely manner. I would do business with them again.

I put it together with no help and only had a problem when I realized that I was missing the desk flap. A quick e-mail and in a week or so I had that and it is now in full use by myself and my grandson for his homework.

I am so pleased with my first experience of using this website. I ordered the Prepac Maple Sonoma Secretary desk online. The delivery went flawlessly and was timely. I could imagine that the instructions could be frustrating for people. I like the puzzle of putting things together and figuring out how the pieces fit. But I had to read ahead a lot to make sure I wasn't making mistakes and that I was filling in the instructions that were skipped over. I loved the graphic insert with pictures of each screw, etc and the associated name for reference.

The final product is beautiful, works perfectly and fits together well, (where some products have gaps or small flaws in construction, this one doesn't). I was very pleased with the details in construction. I feel it will last a long time and be a worthwhile investment. Which brings me to my last point: If you don't mind putting things together, I think you get great quality for the price in this product. I was very pleased.
