It was just as pictured and easy to set-up. The bottom of the magazine rack recently broke so I need to re-attach it, and it is a bit tricky to move once assembled, but has a great design.

In general an okay product. You get what you pay for. It took quite a long time to put together, which I had expected, but the quality of the parts was a little lower than I expected. Also, files don't fit in the file drawers easily -- they are too tall and the drawer catches upon opening and closing. Also, the top drawer is super small. It does have a pretty nice look for the price -- that is, it looks pretty but upon a close inspection is cheaply made. All the parts were there and all but one labeled correctly. All in all it's pretty average. It it just the right size, which is what I was looking for.

drawers tracks were not installed correcty per factory, so the file drawers are uneven, do not close properly. Cannot open them all the way and cannot store files in them. The product is basically useless and a waste of money.

[...]the product itself is a piece of junk. Very, very cheap; drawers don't work well; some of the boards were splintered before putting it together; looks OK from afar, but don't get too close. Dings and bulges and poor lamination on several pieces. I absolutely hope you don't buy this, and I hope the manufacturer discontinues it. The concept is right on target (size, shape, etc), but the execution of the product is most disappointing. Plus the pieces were coated in tiny styrofoam balls that we'll be picking up for weeks.

I read all the good reviews and was excited to recieve the product, but was disappointed. Things were misaligned and the drawers catch, making it very impractical.

This is a very good bang for your buck. If you're looking for a pretty, sturdy piece of furniture for your files, then this would be a great choice. It was not too difficult to put together. My husband and I did it in about two hours. We didn't need any fancy tools to put it together, although not all the holes were pre-drilled and we had to do that ourselves. Also, make sure you have your own wood glue on hand, as the tube that is included is tiny.The drawers open and close smoothly. The top drawer gives us trouble sometimes, but the two larger file drawers are fine. The drawers came out a little crooked, but that may be our fault for the way we put it together. We're not pros at this.Overall, I recommend this piece of furniture. [...]

When I finished putting it together, I found that the bolts were stripped on the fold-up table but did not want to send it back for a new one because it took me so long to put together.

This bill payer's desk is very attractive when fully assembled. It wasn't too tough to put together; my husband and I did it in about an hour and a half. Not all of the holes for the dowels were pre-drilled, so I had to drill them myself, but it still went together smoothly. The drawers are slightly crooked, but that just may be our fault. One dowel was missing from the kit (I immediately counted the parts when I received it), so I used a scrap piece of wood that I had lying around. No sense in contacting customer service over one little dowel! One thing for prospective buyers: make sure you have your own supply of wood glue on hand, as the little vial that comes with the kit contains nowhere near enough glue to finish the job. Overall, a great value and it's a very nice looking piece of furniture. It was just what I was looking for to organize my personal files.

Missing one pull latch. Called, arrived within a week. Assembly was not for an impatient person.
Drawers fit ok but not perfect.
Quality of material and workmanship is nice. Great price for the entire thing.
Will buy again as opportunity arises.
Like the desk. Just as pictured. Arrived quickly. Directions were easy enough to follow.
Drawers work easy. The wooden slots for bills located in the top rear section, can be adjusted or removed.
Recommend having extra glue on hand because it comes with a very small amount.
The desk actually came 2 weeks earlier than I was told so no problems with shipping. Lots of pieces but they were all there and my husband had no problems following the directions & putting it together. We just put all the pieces in order & spread them out so they were easy to find. The desk looks very nice (just as pictured) and seems to be good quality and should hold up under normal use. We bought this desk for my parent's small apartment and they really liked it.
I am VERY happy with this desk and with the speed with which the order was filled! The item is solidly built, easy to put together by anyone with a little do-it-yourself experience, and has lots of storage for papers, bills, etc. The envelope organizer that recesses into the top left of the desk is super. The file folder hangers in the two large drawers are VERY convenient. It has made my bill-paying, never a pleasant process, so much easier! Thank you.
