not really difficult to put together but without any written instructions a little hard to follow. had to take it apart to get the bolts for the drop down in.

Very nice quality, solid wood construction. Looks just like the picture, so no surprises. The only drawback is that it was difficult to assemble.

Instructions could have been a bit more detailed, it added about 15 minutes on to the assembly time. Pegs that cover the screws on the sides of the desk make it look a bit cheap, but not horrible. The drawer only comes in and out with a fight (hopefully will soften over time).For my limited budget, I'm satisfied.[...], the wood has a nice finish and it sits level on the floor, not like so many of those Sauder pieces that wobble.

This desk is very nice quality with simple beauty and functionality. My ONLY complaint with this desk is the directions for assembling it. The pictures alone for assembling are not enough -- some written directions would have made assembling much easier. Otherwise, this is a very nice piece of furniture made of wood (not pressed wood or veneer).
