The screen kit was ok at first, it was easy to assemble, but after a few weeks, the screen kept knoting up and it became hard to pull it open and close. I took the screen down but left the bottom part on because I like the brass accent.

This fireplace screen is a "must have" for the ventless fireplaces. It really dresses it up and it's hard to imagine having the fireplace without one.
Our corner fireplace arrived very quickly. Payment was easy along with the ordering process. Assembly was simple. I was not pleased with the finish of the wood details. Rough edges and nicks in the pillars created odd finishes with the staining. To avoid the time and hassle of return we over looked these problem areas. Over all we are pleased. Fuel burns nicely and easily. It does add a bit of warmth to a small room. It is a cozy addition.
I added the pull screen to my fireplace to prevent my dog from going in. It went on in a snap with great directions.
It also added a bit of beauty to give my fireplace a finished off look.
Im very pleased.
Would've liked more style options. The store had fast shipping, a good price, and I appreciate saving $10 by checking out w/ Google.
