This jewelry box is well made but doesn't hold a ton. It makes very efficient use of the space and looks very nice on my dresser, but it is not made to hold bulkier items like large beaded necklaces. All in all, it is a great jewelry box for those who like smaller jewelry.

I was disappointed to find that the drawers do not lock. Only the lid and sides lock.
I bought this as a gift, and I was really, really surprised. First, the selection of jewelry boxes blew me away, never did I anticipate spending 2 hours looking for one of these! I was also pleasantly surprised to reach their customer service on a Saturday, not to mention how helpful she was helping me choose (I question my opinion on jewelry box styles!). I couldn't be happier with my purchase, this Mele jewelry box is cleverly designed with lots of storage, which means buying more jewlry unfortunately! I have also discovered an incredible resource for shopping online. will definitely return!
