Works great
Not only the time, but many other handy features....date, day, indoor temp. and moon phases..........I luv it !!
I wanted to use the clock in my bedroom to eliminate the electric alarm clock. I love the design, the large display, the fact that it has the outside temperature. The only drawback for me is that I am up often in the night, and I look at the clock as a point of reference. This clock does have illumination, but you have to hit the button.
This has proven to be the best household clock I ever bought. No setting, always accurate and there in a power failure.
The Lunar Cycle display is backwards. On Calendars, some watches, on computers etc, the Full Moon is ALWAYS shown as solid white while the New or No Moon is always solid black. In this clock it is just the opposite and can be confusing. As soon as I figure out how to turn that part off I will do it. Otherwise this is a great little clock. It is very accurate and easy to read.
The instrctions should include more information on how the atomic clock works and what the displays mean. I have owned one at my home and new about it from that one.

I have to have a clock that runs on batteries and has atomic time. I travel quite a bit and this clock it perfect for that and also looks great in my bedroom. Big display and a non-obnoxious alarm are also pros.
If I were designing the moon phase display, I would have made new moon black and full moon white, just like on calendars.
I'm so pleased with this product that I have suggested it to a colleague to purchase for business gifts which is well in his budget range [$].
I would reccomend this to others
Very adequate for what I use it for--an alarm clock. But I find that it is somewhat difficult to set and turn off the alarm. It uses shared buttons for some functions. The size is perfect for a bedroom alarm clock--good display. Temperature and moon phase are fun extras.
