THE NIGHT LIGHT IS TOO LOW AND MUCH TO HARD TO ACTIVATE. THESE UNCERTAINTIES WOULD APPLY TO ANY RECOMMEDATION.
I am perfectly satisfied. It does everything an alarm clock should, is packable for trips, and servicable for home. The sound is harsh, but its purpose is to wake you up, not to entertain you.
I was able to purchase an atomic clock with inside and outside weather features locally for less.
I love this clock. It was very easy to set and has been very reliable. It was just what I was looking for ... great performance in a small package.
Best travel clock I've had.Spend several months a year traveling in my RV and never have to worry about my clock having the right time.Dual alarms are a nice feature. This is my second clock.
I use the clock not only to keep time (without worrying about power outages) but also to set other clocks in the house. Have not used the alarm feature to date.

We use this product to coordinate an accurate dismissal time at our High School.
I use this as my personal alarm---at home and away.
These clocks work better than they used to. It took a while, but it did find the signal despite being in the middle of our house.
At first I wasn't quite sure if the Atomic feature worked. I had to set the time manuelly. Then when dalight savings time ended it set to the right time. :-) I'm very happy with this clock!

Having the instructions printed on the clock itself is a big bonus! This is a premium instrument at a bargain cost.

A very compact travel alarm clock and since it uses atomic clock time it's very accurate. The clock is very easy to set and the alarm is sufficiently loud. It also uses a AAA battery which I appreciate from a cost and battery life standpoint. My previous travel alarm clock (a different brand), was also automatically set by the atomic clock but used expensive batteries that only had a 6 month life. That clock had a very weak alarm sound.
The only feature missing from this clock that I would have liked is a seconds readout. Because of the clocks accuracy I use it to set other clocks around the house and find a seconds readout to be very helpful.
Even without the seconds feature I would certainly recommend this La Crosse clock to anyone who is looking for a compact, accurate travel alarm clock.
