No, I would not recommend this to a friend
This could be a great cabinet if the manufacturer had spent a little more and put more weight to the back panel. The glass in the front doors are heavy (which is nice), but the cabinet itself is so light weight that it wants to fall forward. Their answer to that is to give you gadgets to mount the cabinet to the wall. Who wants to put holes in the wall to have a cabinet, that you should be able to relocate easily if you rearrange furniture. Because of this safety defect I cannot use the cabinet for what I bought it for, which was to keep my Grandchildrens movie in one place.
