I was shopping for a nontraditional desk-substitute for a small room, mainly to hold my laptop, lamp, phone, tape dispenser, stapler, pens/pencils, some papers, etc. The narrow width and compact style, with unobtrusive stools that push underneath, were what appealed to me most. The room looks so much larger without the teak desk it replaced. It is just perfect! While I checked "bargain hunter," I am not above spending "high-end" -- but this one caught my eye online, and it looks like it COULD by "high-end"! The only "con" is that the stool would not substitute for a good desk chair if one would be spending extended time at the "desk."

This product is currently being used in our bedroom for a table for notes, an area to house a plant, and a docking station for our digital camera. The chairs are useful for putting on shoes or just sitting temporarily. I am very impressed with the quality and durability of this product!

I often find it difficult to shop for furniture on line, but this choice turned out better than I thought. It looks really good behind my black leather sofa. It is stable and supports a decent amount of weight. Decent quality for the price.

We are using this table and stool item in a somewhat unusual application. We have a rather small sitting area just off the bedroom, but this small area also feeds into our main living room.

Your table is perfect for a holding a lamp sitting next to our chair in this small sitting area. But the best usage is that it also serves as a dressy table to hold a simple flat screen monitor, speakers, and a petite keyboard for a computer--the height is perfect. The stools are then normally out of the way for traffic; but can be pulled out, and three can sit and watch something on the computer without having to go down the hall to a bedroom. With wireless technology, printing jobs are down the hall, so no clutter in the living room.

For us, to top it off, we already owned end tables and coffee tables in this same metal style, except that ours are a nickel finish. The black blends rather well, especially since the computer parts are all black.

For the price, we are super pleased with this table and stools.

I had been searching for a nice but fairly inexpensive contemporary sofa table. Of course I searched local stores and the internet and found this sofa table. I did hesitate a bit, but kept going back to this sight. I bought it and I couldn't be happier and the stools made it different from any other sofa table that I looked at. I have had people over and their comments were "awesome". It was worth every penny, and very easy to put together. It was also delivered on time and very quick. I would buy again from this company and would encourage you too also.
