The pieces do not fit together properly and in some cases left gaps or would not lay flat. I had 3 people look at this and the pieces are poorly cut. Labels on the pieces left greasy spots. Rails to hang file folders on were improperly spaced, causing folders to fall through. Back panel so bowed the letter holder would not fit in without extreme forcing. Packaging left fibers all over pieces, had to vacuum every piece before assembling.

I really like this desk! I bought it for a place to set my laptop when not in use and charging the battery. A place to toss the mail and file my bills, coupons, and misc.
I found there was room in this little desk to make it a second office in our home. I have a phone and cell phone, stapler, tape dispenser on the desktop. The letter tray holds bills, notepads, scissors, and pens. I keep my digital camera and blank CD's and DVD's in the middle drawer and use the top drawer for printer paper. The magazine rack holds my manuals. The file drawer glides smoothly. The top drawer is smooth.
Unfortunately the midddle drawer does not close easily due to fact that the runner was attached a little bit crooked at the factory. This is something we did not discover till we put it all together. I was a little disapointed but decided to keep it and not complain as it wasn't major...just not as perfect as I would like. I'm sure I could have returned it, but we spent a couple of hours putting it together and really didn't want to do that a second time.
There were a couple of very minor rough edges I filed down with a nail file and touched up with stain. Overall I'm very pleased with it.

I saw this and thought, "this would be great for my space" and it fits wonderfully. I didn't want a big desk because it was going in my kitchen. It is very solid and well built, even comes with wood glue and pegs along with screws to make sure it's built solidly. [...] I would highly recommend this desk!

I am pleased with the size, quality, and appearance of my mini desk. I am not mechanically inclined but I was able to assemble the desk without assistance. I am very pleased with the purchase and have found it an excellent way to stay organized because it allows me to store everything that I need in one spot.
