I agree with the light hardware. Very soft metal. Make sure you use the exact right size screwdriver or it will strip the heads. Had to use a flashlight for some of the fittings. But I am happy with the unit as a whole and it looks really great.

This is a very nice piece of furniture for the price. I was looking around a local stores and everything was much higher priced. This piece of furniture looke as good(if not better) than a lot of the high end pieces of furniture. It took about 1.5-2 hrs to assemble, but it is well worth it. It is made with real wood and once assembled looks like a customer piece of furniture.

I use this product for my 47" LCD TV and all of its components. Hides all wires and it is very attractive and easy to assemble, however the hardware to hold it together is VERY POOR quality. The metal is soft and it does not grab the srews to hold secure. More then half the HArware broke while putting the piece together. Pieces are not fastened or secured. I placed all thepanels as best as I could and the top flat surface of the piece, with it's weight holds everything together. CANNOT move piece. Looks good and expensive though.

I love my entertainment stand[...]!! My husband had some difficulty in assembly due to cheap bolts/hardware breaking, and one edge was loose and had to be glued. Overall a great purchase for the price.

We searched the usual array of locations for a TV stand that would (a) support our new 52" flat screen, (b) blend in well with our modest, largely black furniture, and (c) fit our budget. We have not ordered furnishings via the internet before, so we were somewhat apprehensive, but we were impressed by this website (with so many options and details). The unit delivered all the features and style we hoped to find. It was relatively easy to assemble (with only one minor hiccup). It is a substantial piece of furniture with ample storage. We think it looks and feels like a more expensive cabinet.

We use this piece to hold our 46 inch plasma and it is perfect. Their is lots of storage and the table is very solid. It is black so it shows dust but having other black pieces, we were aware of that. [...] I wasn't able to find anything close to its style or price in the stores in our area.

Once it was assembled, it looks great. The front frame was broken. I had to fit together and super glue it back in place.

Nice piece for the price. Required some caulking and paint (10 minutes of work) where molding meets top. Nice solid heavy construction. Doors fit and work well. Overall finish good.

The perfect cabinet for our new Sony 46" HDTV. Love the black..goes great in my room and with the TV design. Lots of storage with plenty of room for VHS, CD, and Cable box in center.

It is very heavy for seniors to assemble and fingerprints show easily.

The issues I've read below about mismatched holes and needing to drill in the back to get the cords threaded have been addressed nicely. Large holes in all three back panels. The directions were not in broken English, the pieces were well organized and the assembly was easy and seamless.[...] Very happy with this purchase.

The cam lock screws and cam locks were difficult to assemble. If you put the screw in too far, it would not grab onto the cam lock. Once the cam lock screw and cam lock were inserted, you could not pull them out. Thus, some of of shelves were unsteady.

into the holes to be "locked" in. One of the doors was a little too snug when opening and closing.

The predrilled holes did not match up well. The cam locks did not turn sufficiently consequently the right side of my cabinet is loose. [...] The magnetic latches for the cabinet doors were broken off from their wood base so I had to nail back in. A big hassle. [...]

Overall great TV stand. Holds my Sony 46XBR3 nicely. But only has 1 open slot for cables. Center platform does not slide (its held by 4 hindges) so if you forget while pulling on it, you drop whats on it ie. the cable box.

Good looking console. Looks perfect with new plasma tv mounted above it. Very easy to put together. Some of the wood parts were a little knicked up and needed to be manually corrected.

Terrific purchase. Arrived just days after purchasing. All solid wood... not cheap, flimsy chip board. Fairly easy to assemble. My only complaint and reason for not rating it a 5 is the cabinet shelving. The adjustable shelving support holes do not line up, so your shelves are not level. The left side wasn't even close. So much so it made me think I put the unit together wrong, but after review it was assembled correctly. However, it is fixable, I'll just have to drill my own holes for level shelving... but something I shouldn't have to do. Still, I'm happy with my purchase and would encourage anyone struggling with the decision on which stand to purchase to go with Home Styles.

delived quick, has pleny of room for storage, looks sharp with a plasma tv hung over it.
It was delivered with a couple small nicks but it was easy to mask with a black marker. Shows dust and finger prints if not wipped down frequently.

The quality and appearance are beautiful. It's heavy, solid, and nicely finished. We had shopped at a couple of furniture stores, knew pretty much what we wanted, but couldn't find it. We wanted a simple, nice looking and well-constructed piece of furniture for a basement family room that would fit under the TV and store components, video games, contollers, dvds, etc. I found this one on your website and it seemed perfect. The price was right, and it was delivered very quickly. We were very glad that the product looked as great in person as it did on the website. The only thing that we didn't expect was the self-assembly. That wasn't clear in the description of the product on the website. Fortunately, it was pretty easy to assemble. The pieces fit into place without any trouble. All of the necessary parts and hardware were there. Everything slid into place; no glue, and only minimal tools required.

Product was as nice as it looked . Assembly was easy and arrived with no damage . Holds the items needed to go with our 50" plasma and more . As nice as units that were twice the price and more . Would buy from this mfg. again and your website.

Great product for the money...

I was looking for tv stand for a HDTV...most of the popular stores were 600 - 999 dollars. I wanted a nice piece but didnt think these particular pieces were worth the money. A friend told me about the website, found this one immediately. Ordered it and got the insurance on it, and for a lot less than the others looked at, this one was awesome. Came in GREAT condition. Came timely. Super EASY to build. Has been a nice addition to our family room. Everyone has commented, thinking it was a Pottery Barn or Crate & Barrel piece. No hassle purchasing and great price, I would recommend to EVERYONE!
