Pros:
Attractive Design, Efficient Use of Space, Good Capacity
Cons:
Difficult To Assemble, Flimsy, Parts not well made
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Although the cabinet is wood, the section that actually holds the wine bottles is pressed board - very flimsy. And the construction of the pieces was poor, so that the piece behind the drawer could not be attached.
Very satisified with the Cabinet

The wine cabinet assembled easily. One of the legs is a 1/4" inch shorter than the other three. The cabinet rocked all over the place unit I added a shim under the short leg.

We have been looking for a long time for just the right wine rack. We are casual wine drinkers so we didn't need a hugely expensive thing. This is a very fine product priced right. We are very pleased with this purchase and it really added a very nice touch to our breakfast nook.
Item as described, fast shipment. A+.

After reviewing numerous methods for wine bottle storage (rack, wall mount, hooks, stands etc. ) for a varied number of bottles decided this was a decent looking sturdy cabinet which does the job for 24 bottles with a drawer & flat surface for storage of accessories.

We added strips of masonite between the dividers for extra strength and it solved the slight sagging along the sides. We are now very happy with the racks.

I didn't find it difficult to assemble at all. Two holes did need to be redrilled, but it wasn't complicated. For this low price you can't expect perfection. I was a little worried that the walnut finish would clash with my other dining room furniture, but it's a warm, neutral finish that goes with everything.

I couldn't install the drawer pull. The threads in the pull were not machined well and the bolt provided could not be threaded into the pull.
By Susan from Upstate New York on 6/9/2007
I found this easy to put together, and it looks great. For the money, it's the nicest wine storage unit I've seen. I had only one problem, and that was when I was assembling the drawer. The holes to connect the right side to the front were not synchronized, but I was still able to make it fit without stressing the pieces.

I love this wine rack! It is a good quality product and very elegant for the price.
By Carl L. from Massachusetts on 2/12/2007
This wine rack is sturdy and is a nice-looking piece of furniture. It holds 24 bottles securely, and has a drawer that is useful for wine paraphernalia, such as corkscrews, stoppers, etc. The only negative was assembly, which was a little more work than I would prefer, and required some elbow grease to get the screws tightened securely. However, I'm happy with the result.
By Harry from Chicago, IL on 2/6/2007
Assembly was awkward and more difficult than necesaary due to poor design and fit. Finished product is acceptable.
By Mr. Lackey from NC on 1/16/2007
This is really a nice value. Holds even the taller
wine bottles. Drawer is just a great feature. Cabinet comes KD'd. But was very easy to put together. Finish is really warm and blends with other wood finishes. Highly recommend.

This is an econominal wine rack, attractive and functional but not as solidly made as I would have liked. It's OK for the price.
By Mr. Wirth from New York City on 11/27/2006
This is an excellent wine cabinet for the price. It is made of solid hardwood and is quite substantial. One piece was missing but was subsequently shipped at no charge. This is a real piece of furniture that would look good in almost any setting.
